Remoting PC From Distance By Utilizing ADSL Modem
This is the other ways to control or to remote a PC that separated by far distance by using realVNC or UltraVNC that has discussed before, but this is way is utilizing modem in spite of using VNC or UltraVNC software that you can get by both free and by buying them. There are some requirements that you have to fulfill before you remoting your PC.
Here they are :
1. Firstly you must know password that used by operator to protect their PC
2. Include or register this IP PC into your modem. To do this steps do the following steps:
- Access your modem by typing your gateway address then Login
- then Click on Advance Setup
- Click on NAT (Network Address Translation)
- Click on Virtual Server
- Then type what IP is used by PC that you want to remote
- click add, by this way you already registered the IP of PC that you want to remote.
3. Then the other think that you have to know is Public IP that you want to remote. If you are unable to know this ask to operator to looking for this public IP. It can be done by searching on whatismyipaddress.com, directly you will face an IP on your screen, this is PC public IP.
4. Then you have to open remote desktop Connection, to got this feature you must
- Click on start then
- Click on C driver, then
- Scroll down and select windows,
- scroll down to find system32
- scroll down again to find mstcs.exe
- then Insert Public IP of PC that you want to remote
5. Now you can access PC IP that you already registered in other word you can do every thing to PC that the IP has been registered. To access it you will be asked to type username and password of PC.
This is easy easy way, but when you open another PC screen on your PC, the client PC will log out directly and automaticcally.
