openSUSE 11.1 Will Be Released On December 18.

Joe Brockmeier stated that this is probably become the last testing release of openSUSE 11.1 linux distribution. It is planned to released on December 18, 2008. There will be some new features like Linux Kernel 2.6.27.7 that has been improved, more bugs are fixed, the shortened licence, more translation. Beside that it also Amarok 2.0 RC1, Zypper 1.0.1 and glibc 2.9.

Even thought, there are some warnings, they are: Amarok 2.0 doesn’t stop on KDE4, Openoffice.org is not included in the PPC edition, Novell VPN doesn’t work at novell-ipsec-tools 0.7.1 and the licence that will be gotten is not translated yet.
