Fedora 10 Operating System Included With Four Desktops

Fedora 10 is the latest Linux operating system that was released by Fedora Project team after success in releasing Fedora 9. There are 4 different desktops that we can select to be used to operate our pc, they are GNOME 2.24, KDE 4, LXDE and Sugar. There is excess that you can find in each desktop. Such as KDE and GNOME desktop that allow you to customise effect as they are support to make an effect but they are need to be manually enabled.

Apart KDE and GNOME, Sugar desktop that has included in OLPC(One Laptop Per Child) project for progressing nation. This desktop is easy, cheap and social experience users. Meanwhile the latest desktop, LXDE when compared with the other desktop it has lower source utilization. In multimedia features, Fedora 10 still able to play multimedia file like what can be done commonly in Windows operating system, but this is not as easy as windows since we still need to tweak it by using packagekit.

In installation case we will find the similarity between Fedora 9 and Fedora 10 in installation time. Fedora 10 is work well when it is installed at Intel Core2 Duo machine with 512 MB RAM computer. There is any different between them except the amount of default package that are installed in Fedora are more than what will be installed in Fedora 9. Known there are 928 default packages, meanwhile in Fedora 10 there are 1070 default packages.
