Microsoft Office 2010, codenamed Office 14, is a productivity suite for Microsoft Windows, and the successor to Microsoft Office 2007. Office 2010 includes extended file format support,user interface updates, and a refined user experience. With the introduction of Office 2010, a 64-bit version of Office is available, although not for Windows XP. Office 2010 does not support Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows Server 2003.

On April 15, 2010, Microsoft announced that Office 2010 had been released to manufacturing, with those Volume Licensing customers who have Software Assurance being able to download the software from April 27, 2010. The suite became available for retail as well as online purchase on June 15, 2010.

Office 2010 marks the debut of free online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, which work in popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari). A new edition of Office, Office Starter 2010, replaced the low-end home productivity software, Microsoft Works.

Microsoft’s update to its mobile productivity suite, Office Mobile 2010, will also be released for Windows Phones running Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Phone 7. In Office 2010, every application features the Ribbon, including OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace (previously known as Groove), and the new Office Web Apps.

MySql 5.4 And MySql Cluster 7 From Sun Microsystem

New software product already released by Sun Microsystemt to make programmer in controlling the maching much better than before. The software are MySql 5.4 and MySql Cluster . Both of products are bringing new capabilities such as MySql 5.4 that show the work increase and scalability which make Storage InnoDB Machine to control x86 16-way and server CMT 64-way. Beside that it also claimed owning best time respons in some certain query.

Meanwhile MySql Cluster 7 was claimed bringing new feature that able to increase the work and scalability significantly. Beside that Sun Microsystem also introduce it’s new partner, DBA remote.

Easy To Make Script With Notepad ++

Notepad ++ is one of many editor tools that you can use for editing a script. This is easy to be installed and easy to be used too. Easily you can launch to both browser, internet explorer and mozilla firefox to try the result.

I usually use it for editing a script for PHP program. It is easy to use and clear as well. There are various color for each item. Currently this is the best editor that I know.

Creating Database For Installing WordPress In Local Host

After writing about the way to download and install appserv for editing theme of our website, here I provide little step how to create database which will be used for installing wordpress in our localhost which certainly can be done easily by you.

1. Firstly search local host in your browser then enter your username and your password.

2. Then click on php MyAdmin

3 Create a name of database that you want to create, then click on create button

4. Then visit worpress.org to download the latest version of wordpress.

5. Extract wordpress.zip into www folder. In this case I extract appserv in D:/AppServ/www, so I will extract wordpress.zip to D:/AppServ/www/.

6. Test wordpress that you have install by searching on browser localhost/wordpress

7. When there is a window which say that we need to make wp.config.php mean that installaton is not over yet. Click on create a wp-config.php file through a web interface then click Let’s go

8. Fill tyhe form

Database Name : (fill this with the database name we have made before)
Username: root : (fill this with password that you want to use. the default password is root)
Password: password of Mysql (leave it in blank)
Database Host: localhost
Table Prefix: wp_

9 Then Run the Install

10. Clcik on First step

11. Insert the blog name that you want to appear. Insert email that will be used

12. Then Click on the second steps

13. insert your user name and password to log in

Download And Install Appserv For Own Local Host

As what I ever discuss before in the last post about designing website theme and installing wordpress in Localhost that instead of installing apache server, php, MySQL and php Myadmin we can download and install apacheserv 2.5.9 which has included with the four components I have mentioned above. Beside simple it also included as big file.

Downloading appserv can be gotten from downloading appserv. From the same we also can see the guide to install Appserv into our PC. But here i will rewrite the steps for more convenience that will you get from this site:

1. Firstly double click on your Appserve with exe extension we have saved then we will face a window like image below

Click on next button

2. Read and make an agreement by clicking on I agree button from the window appearance below

3. Then you will face a window that shows you where we will place this file. Default it will place to C:/AppServ. But I place it on D:/AppServ because the default will disturb system working of our computer.

4. Select components we want to install, Suggested to install all of components.

5. Make root name and email that will be used for sending information then click on Next

When you see the window above type your password instead of default password, root and also check on support old password support, then click on Install button.

7. Click on Finish which mean that installation has done.

To check it type on your browser localhost if then enter your username and password. Default username and password is root. For wordpress installation, check the next post.

Designing Website Theme, Installing WordPress In Localhost

Theme is one of many factors for people to come to our site again and again. That is why we have to design website theme in order to own high interest and easy to be understood as menus are placed in the right side of your time. But Editing theme to become interesting website is very time consuming and sometimes disturb visitors in viewing our site as it change from a minute to minute.

This is very useful for designer or theme editor to own local host installed in their pc. By using this local host a designer can design their website theme before viewed to readers. The first step that has to be done by designer is installing local host in their pc. In this case there are many application we have to be done to place a local host in your PC. They are Appserver, php, MySQL also php myadmin. They have to installed one by one and I feel so tired to do this step.

my way as the solution of this difficulty is by installing the other application which is contained by the fourth application I have mentioned. In this way I use Appserv 2.5.9 and we can get it in download and install appserv 2.5.9.

Download and install it into your PC then you will own a local host in your pc. Then the next step you have to do after installing appserv 2.5.9 is install wordpress into your local host. To run this step make sure that you have made a database that you will use to place this wordpress. To create a data base just follow the following steps.

brows localhost from your browser(Firefox etc)
Click on phpMyAdmin database manager, then you will asked to insert username and your password of your localhost
Then type the name of database then click on create button
Then go to wordpress.org to install wordpress into your localhost
Create the name of wordpress
brows your wordpress from your localhost

Now you can edit a theme from your localhost. Just copy your theme into your local wordpress in theme folder, then edit it. After it has met with your convenience upload this theme into your real website. By this way your visitors won’t be disturbed by the changes process is being done.

How To Install Apache Web Server Into PC

If you want to start to build a website the first step you have to do is downloading and installing Apache Web Server, in this case I prefer to use apache_2.0.59-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi. To Download it you can visit download apache Web Server. Then install it. Follow the following steps to Install Apache Sever Into Your PC.

1. After you install Apache web server you can open it and install it

2. You will face the welcome Window and what you need just click on Next button

3. The next window that will you face is Apache license which ask you to read carefully. If you wish to use this Apache web server just click on “I accept the terms in the license agreement”

4. Fill the three blank column in the appear window. You can fill the first and the second blank column with localhost, then fill the third blank column with admin@localhost

5. Just click on next button on the window that appear as it has provided the right default for you.

6 On the next step you will be provide the pathe where you will place apache web server. You can change the pathe . You can change it into C:/Program File/ Apache. Then Click Ok.

7. Click on install button on the window.

8. Clcik Finish, which also mean the installation has ended

9. Check for making sure that your installation is success by searching localhost on the internet. If your installation success it will appera It Works.

PHP Development History

PHP was built in 1994 in autumn for the first time by Rasmus Lerdoff to account visitors that visit his site. The first release of PHP is in 1995 and was called Tool Personal Home Page and only included with some parts like visitor counter and guide book. In 1995 it was rebuilt by combining Tool Personal Home Page with the other form of Rasmus and also related with database.

Then in 1997 the other developer was occur, they are Zeev Suraski and Andi Gutmans. They developed PHP and release version 3. This version is the result of version 2 development by adding some utilities. Then to get the maximal performance, version 4 was released. In this version there are extension and utility from the third party.

On April 22nd, 2002, there are many bugs. That is little history of PHP that I pick from some sources on internet.
